when considering their career path options.
Building
a Vision
-
That the troops can rally around is often a leader's biggest challenge.
Making a vision clear, repeatable, and removing obstacles to it's
implementation are key topics of discussion.
Developing
Teams
- Can be a huge challenge in today's workplace
with downsizing and the "more the less" mentality. Two
approaches can be taken here:
1)
High Performing Teams
gives a strong team development model with clarity on issues around
the Stages of Team development, proper team leader behaviors, team
issues, challenges, norms and member roles. Building an operating
Team Charter is central to it's success.
2)
Team Building Experiences

functions through team building exercises. This Experiential Learning
is very powerful in it's outcomes; and challenges the "status
quo" of even well established teams.
Situational
Self-Leadership

to ask for the leadership they need in order to get their job done
quicker and move toward "peak performance". It concentrates
on building individual's skills in four key areas: goal-setting,
expressing yourself, proactive problem-solving and taking authority.
Motivation
- Focuses on the high need for leaders to find out what motivates
their people - how to draw on that need to improve performance and
employee job satisfaction. Discusses well tested and new theories
