Inc. was founded in April 1999 based on 20 years of experience in
the modern business climate. The insights from this practical experience
are focused on:

The
Marketplace Situation
All of us have attended industry shows to
network, strategize and size up the competition. The last few years
we were struck by all the conversations around change in the Industry
and how it impacts sales, people movement and leadership choices.
Then we realized there were very few people who had "carried
the bag" in Sales, Leadership, and Training roles and who had
Corporate experience. We matched that career experience with the
dream to run a business and help other companies to change their
business for the better.
So, we started Leadership Performance Development Inc. The decision
was influenced by:
1) A longing and life-time passion to study, develop, and train
leadership skills and competencies.
2) The love of sales and people development. How people act, react
and build their businesses and careers
3) A fascination with organizational change and how it effects companies'
strategic decisions, people choices and ultimately their profitability.
Our
Belief System
1.
LPD Inc. is primarily in the leadership and sales business NOT THE
TRAINING BUSINESS. We are pragmatic in our approach and consider
ourselves to be "practitioners over trainers".
2. Fundamentally any learning and development issue in an organization
can be most successfully implemented by starting at the top. Change
and reinforcement begins and ends with the Leadership team.
